I have just completed Mattanza...after being enraptured by The Stone Boudoir. I am a Massachusetts native now living in Los Angeles. Met up with my siblings (Gloucester, MA) for a trip to Sicily in November 2005. I read The Stone Boudoir as a primer for what was to come. I so loved your book, that I recommended it to my book club. One member is the librarian at my local library. She said the only time she put it down was to go to sleep at night. Quite a compliment.
